The Shipping Clerk supports the Shipping Supervisor in managing daily shipping operations, preparing products for shipment, and maintaining finished goods inventory. This role also involves coordinating transportation activities, ensuring accurate inventory records, and assisting with employee oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipping schedules and inquiries with internal and external teams.
- Manage and maintain inventory accuracy through weekly cycle counts.
- Prepare domestic and international shipping documents and route deliveries.
- Pack and label materials for shipment and operate material handling equipment.
- Assist in supervising shipping staff and addressing workflow issues.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
Work Environment: This role involves both office and warehouse work, with some physical activity such as moving materials and operating equipment.
Working Hours: 7:00AM-3:00PM
