We are seeking a reliable and organized Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage the loading, setup, inspection, and packaging of products. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations, handling both incoming and outgoing products with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Load products onto machines and prepare for production or distribution
- Set up and configure machinery and equipment according to specific instructions
- Complete and maintain necessary paperwork, including shipping and receiving logs
- Restock materials and supplies to ensure smooth and continuous workflow
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Package products securely, ensuring proper labeling and preparation for shipment
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed
- Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Required Skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed
- Basic communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role
- Familiarity with machinery setup and operation
- Experience with inventory management and paperwork handling
Additional Information
- No previous experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Experience working 12-hour shifts and weekends is essential
- Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are preferred but not mandatory
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
