We are seeking a skilled Production Lead to oversee daily operations on our production line. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality procedures, managing material handling, and operating machinery to produce high-tech tape products. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse environments, machine operation, and basic computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily production line operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures and customer specifications.
- Communicate fluently in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Report material issues and equipment problems to the Plant Manager.
- Operate a production line for high-tech tape products.
- Review work orders and ensure correct material and setup.
- Load, unload, and store roll shafts using material handling equipment.
- Cut and splice material as needed.
- Prepare rolls for transport to the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment (fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Use chemicals for cleaning adhesives during changeovers.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Skills/Requirements:
- Experience in a warehouse environment.
- Previous machine operation experience.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Knowledge of scan guns and/or inventory control systems.
- Forklift operator experience is a plus.
Working Hours: 2:30PM-3:00AM
Pay rate: Starting $30/hr with night differential
