Assembler Lead

As an Assembler Lead, you will oversee the assembly process, ensuring that all parts are properly assembled and mounted into larger assemblies or castings, with correct soldering and wiring installation. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-quality production standards, while leading and mentoring a team of assemblers to meet production goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Follow and enforce technical instructions, interpret drawings, and adhere to manufacturing procedures.
- Utilize and oversee the use of tools and test equipment.
- Maintain and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Lead the team in meeting production goals, supporting the department supervisor.
- Train and mentor team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any production-related issues.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related manufacturing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to work in and lead a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Hours: 7am - 3:30pm
Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
