Job Summary: The Machine Operator/Forklift role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of extrusion machines and the safe handling of raw materials and finished products. This position requires the use of a forklift to move pallets, load raw plastic materials into extruder machines, and package and transport the finished product. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklift to move pallets and transport materials within the facility.
Load raw plastic materials into extrusion machines.
Monitor and operate extrusion machines to ensure efficient production.
Remove finished products from machines and package them according to specifications.
Ensure all products meet quality standards before packaging and shipping.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and materials are stored properly.

Requirements:

Forklift certification required; must be able to safely operate and share forklift duties.
Previous experience as a machine operator, particularly with extrusion machines, is preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Working Hours: 6pm-6am

Compensation: $16.50 per hour
