As the Assembly Lead at our footswitch manufacturing facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. Your primary responsibilities will involve coordinating job orders, overseeing the assembly process, resolving technical issues, and cultivating a collaborative work environment. We are seeking an individual with keen attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather job orders and prepare them for production.
- Maintain and update the job status board to monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Place orders for necessary materials and supplies from the warehouse to support production schedules.
- Perform assembly of final products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot footswitch failures or technical issues during assembly.
- Provide training and guidance to team members to uphold consistent quality and productivity.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
- Utilize computer systems for job tracking, inventory management, and communication purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work execution.
- Proficiency in using computers and basic software applications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for assembly tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills for technical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Reliable attendance record and punctuality. Positive attitude with readiness to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing roles.
- Familiarity with footswitches or similar electronic components.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Training or certification in relevant technical skills or safety procedures.
Working Hours: 7:00AM-3:00PM
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
