Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor oversees the manufacturing team, ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. This role requires supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, expertise in 5S and Lean or Kaizen methodologies, and the ability to motivate and lead team members towards continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of 15-25 manufacturing employees.
- Align with core values of Safety, Trustworthiness, Dedication, Respect, and Serving.
- Conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary processes.
- Drive and sustain improvements in production efficiency.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations with a focus on safety and quality.
- Spend 90% of the time on the manufacturing floor.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Participate in and lead Kaizen events.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
- Collaborate with other production supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven supervisory experience managing teams of 15-25 employees.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S programs.
- Participation in Kaizen events.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with performance reviews and disciplinary processes.
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members and peers.
- Knowledge of ISO standards is a plus.
Availability to work from 6 AM to 4:30 PM.
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
