SMT LEAD TECHNICIAN

Benefits:

This position oversees the SMT production line, managing equipment setup, maintenance, and operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate AOI machines for quality inspection and oversee product completion on the SMT Line.
Monitor foil inventory, order new foils for upcoming products, and ensure proper foil usage.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to schedule tasks effectively.
Ensure smooth product flow through the SMT process to meet production deadlines.
Provide comprehensive training to team members through written and verbal instructions.
Implement best practices and efficient work methods.
Communicate inventory shortages to the Stockroom and manage tool maintenance and replacements.
Review and approve ECOs related to the SMT Department.
Profile reflow ovens according to product requirements.
Research potential equipment purchases and obtain quotations for procurement.
Adjust the SMT process based on feedback from other departments.
Assist in evaluating and implementing new equipment, tools, and parts.

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong focus on quality and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient in computer skills and technology use.
Familiarity with reading and understanding electronics schematics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
Mechanical aptitude and experience in using tools for fabrication and assembly.

Working Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
