Responsibilities 

-        Create/Revise 3D models and technical drawings in SolidWorks 

-        Create/Revise Part Numbers and bills of Materials 

-        Create procedures for Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing 

-        Perform engineering calculations to support design work. Produce and maintain quality and design documentation. 

-        Inspecting and testing of materials, equipment and products to ensure quality standards are met. 

-        Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of current products and new designs. 

-        Cost estimating of special products 

-        Support sales with technical support, drawings and creation of marketing material. 

 

Requirements 

-        Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related discipline. 

-        Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience. 

-        Experience in design and detailing of structural welds a plus 

-        Good proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, CAD (SolidWorks) and familiarity with ERP systems 

-        Hands-on work ethic, sense of urgency and team player.
