We have an exciting Process Engineer role to join a state of the art manufacturer's growing and dynamic team. The candidate should have a strong background in chemical/chemistry fundamentals and excel in both problem-solving and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Vigilantly oversee and assess production processes to preemptively identify and rectify any issues that could affect productivity, quality, or safety.
  • Lead the charge in the initiation, testing, and approval of new equipment and methodologies.
  • Setup and maintain the calibration of machinery to ensure uniform output and quality.
  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation, instructions, and risk assessments.
  • Drive enhancements in production strategies to reduce machine downtime, boost efficiency, and elevate product quality, leveraging analytical tools and diagrams.
  • Evaluate production machinery, contributing to the selection of suppliers that enhance procedural effectiveness.
  • Work to fulfill client specifications and refine operational efficiencies.
  • Engage directly with clients to tailor and scale products for improved functionality.
  • Innovate in tooling and procedural advancements to increase production flow, including the integration of components, and shop equipment
  • Provide support to production team in the setup and troubleshooting of new setups and in overcoming challenges in machine operations.
Skills/Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, obtained from a four-year college or university.
  • Between two to five years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
  • A solid grasp of chemicals.
  • Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is highly desirable.
  • Competent in interpreting safety regulations, operational and maintenance directives, and procedural manuals.
  • Effective at delivering presentations to customer groups or organization staff.
  • Skilled in deciphering a wide range of technical instructions, whether presented in mathematical, diagrammatic, or various other formats, and managing numerous abstract and concrete variables.
Hours: Business days-flexible
Pay: $105-$135K/DOE
