Machine Operator

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma, have experience with setup and adjustment of machinery, and basic math skills. Experience with electronics, calipers, and micrometers is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Set up machinery before production runs, including selecting the right tools, materials, and programming parameters.
Operate and monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
Make adjustments to machinery as necessary to correct errors or deviations in the production process.
Use basic math skills to measure and calculate dimensions, quantities, and tolerances.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, measurements, and product counts.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they operate effectively and report any issues to the maintenance department.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may arise during the production process.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and resolve challenges effectively.

Skills/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a machine operator is a plus.
Experience with electronics, calipers, and micrometers is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights when necessary.
